Sworn to Protect, Enforce and Uphold Honor

From the Desk of the Sheriff

Thank you for visiting our newly developed web site. It is designed to assist you in finding information to any questions regarding Creek County Sheriff’s Department. I encourage you to be a regular visitor to the site, as we will continue to update with monthly newsletters, posting the latest “Most Wanted” faces and useful community information.
This month, I want to welcome our newest deputies to the Creek County Sheriff's Office. During our recent hiring phase, we were introduced to many good applicants. We feel our latest additions will enjoy working with our diverse team of experts.
Our Reserve Deputy program is proud to report that there are new individuals ready to graduate from the Reserve Academy. Not only is the program effective in the community, but they are highly respected within our agency for the job they do in assisting the department.
The safety of our community is never more compromised than when drug operations are not reported for our Narcotics Investigators to apprehend. CRIMESTOPPERS is a great place for anonymous tips to be left for us to follow-up on. Recently law enforcement has been able to target multiple individuals across the county and shut them down. Our dedicated deputies and investigative officers are dedicated and effective in the war against drugs. Our daily efforts continue to capture those manufacturing and distributing narcotics in Creek County. We will not stand back and let illegal actions hamper the safety of our citizens, without bringing them to justice.
As we continue to grow and evolve our team, we are proud to say thank you to one of our own upon his retirement from Law Enforcement. We are further proud to announce that two more are transferring to other divisions within our community. These individuals will serve within the Oklahoma State Highway Patrol division and as a new investigator with the Bristow Police Department. Having strong relationships within multiple divisions of law enforcement offers strong communications and coordination of efforts.
In closing, I would like to remind you as the weather is changing, activities within the county are increasing. Be safety conscious on our roads and lakes. It is the objective of our deputies and officers to continue our work in making Creek County a safe, family-oriented place for residents and guests to live and work.

The Creek County Sheriff's Office, combined with State and local departments will be conducting “safety checkpoints” countywide over the next few months.
These checkpoints are funded 100% by Federal and State grant monies and are in conjunction with DUI Enforcement Shifts that are on-going, everyday.
If you are stopped at one of these checkpoint areas, please be patient. The shifts are targeting those individuals driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Our deputies will get you back on your way as soon as possible. Help us keep our county safe for all.
